This year’s conference will include presentations of case studies and projects on innovative ways to enhance employability through teaching and learning Modern Foreign Languages at university, including English as a Foreign Language, covering the following areas:
- The use of technology
- Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL)
- Intercultural awareness (support and development)
- Curriculum (re)design and assessment
- Learning and teaching methods
- Project based and collaborative work
- Autonomous learning and motivation
- Development of professional skills
- Year Abroad
Abstract submission guidelines:
Maximum length 300 words, single-spaced Word document or PDF.
Submit 2 copies of your abstract proposal:
The successful authors will be invited for a 20-minute presentation/ workshop or a poster presentation.
Selected papers from the conference will be published in an edited volume in 2017.

Submit 2 copies of your abstract proposal:
- one including on the top of the page the title and 5 keywords, your personal information (your name, address and affiliation);
- the other without any personal details, only the abstract’s title and 5 keywords;
- the filename of your named abstract should be in the following format: the first three words of the title of your abstract and your name, in the format title_name (e.g. EnhancingEmployabilityThrough_JoeBloggs.docx);
- the filename of your anonymous abstract should be in the following format: the first three words of the title and 'anon', in the format title_anon (e.g. EnhancingEmployabilityThrough_anon.docx);
- using ABSTRACT SUBMISSION in the subject line, email your abstract proposal to [email protected] by 25th March 2016 - extended deadline. The body of the email message should contain the following information: 1) the abstract's title; 2) full name; 3) affiliation; 4) contact email address (if different from the address in the email header); and, 5) contact telephone number.
